Our Quality Guarantee
If your Franson Farms Barrel Works product arrives with a manufacturing defect, structural issue, or damage that occurred during shipping, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographs and a description of the issue.
We will work with you to make it right. Depending on the situation, we may:
Repair the item at no cost
Provide replacement parts
Replace the item
Provide a full or partial refund when a repair or replacement isn’t reasonably possible
Our goal is simple: you should be proud to own a piece made by Franson Farms Barrel Works.
Returns
Because our furniture is handcrafted specifically for our customers, we accept returns on standard, non-custom items within 30 days of delivery, provided the item is:
Unused and in its original condition
Free from damage caused after delivery
Returned with all included hardware and components
Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the return is the result of a defect, incorrect item, or shipping damage.
Once the returned item has been received and inspected, we will issue an approved refund to the original payment method.
Custom & Made-to-Order Pieces
Custom and made-to-order furniture cannot be returned simply because of a change of mind or preference after production has begun.
Before we begin a custom project, we’ll work with you to confirm the design, dimensions, finish, and other details so you know exactly what we’re building.
Custom pieces are still covered by our Quality Guarantee for workmanship and structural defects.
Natural Character Isn’t a Defect
Our furniture is made from reclaimed bourbon barrels and naturally aged wood. Variations in:
Grain
Color
Char
Knots
Small surface marks
Barrel markings
Curvature
Texture
are natural characteristics of reclaimed wood and are part of what makes each piece unique.
These differences are not considered defects and will vary from piece to piece.
Shipping Damage
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If your piece has been damaged during shipping, contact us within 7 days and provide photographs of the packaging and the damaged product.
We’ll work with you and the carrier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Shipping, Delivery & Pickup
At Franson Farms Barrel Works, we know our furniture is made to be enjoyed—and sometimes that means getting a handcrafted piece from our shop to your home takes a little planning.
We offer several options to make getting your order as easy as possible.
Local Pickup
Free local pickup is available from Franson Farms Barrel Works.
Once your order is ready, we’ll contact you to arrange a convenient pickup time. We’ll make sure your piece is ready and protected for the trip home.
Local Delivery
We offer free local delivery within our general service area, based on our schedule and availability.
If you’re flexible on your delivery date and time, we’ll work with you to coordinate a time that fits into one of our upcoming delivery routes.
Need your furniture on a specific date and time?
We can often accommodate scheduled deliveries for an additional delivery fee. Contact us before ordering or after your purchase and we’ll work with you to find an option that works.
Extended Delivery
Located a little farther away?
We regularly travel throughout the region and may be able to deliver orders 1–3 hours from our shop, depending on the size of your order, location, and our schedule.
Extended delivery is handled on a case-by-case basis so we can provide a fair price based on the actual distance and order.

Shipping
We’re currently developing a system for safe, secure, and reasonably priced shipping of our furniture.
Because our pieces are handcrafted and often large or uniquely shaped, we don’t want to rely on standard shipping methods that could result in damage or unreasonable shipping costs.
At this time, standard shipping is not yet available as an option at checkout.
However, that doesn’t necessarily mean we can’t get a piece to you.
If you’re outside our delivery area and interested in one of our pieces, please contact us before or after placing your order. We’ll do our best to find a safe and affordable way to get it to you.
